Daily Ayat and Hadith - Thu May 9, 2013 Ayat from Surah Ta-ha (87) They said: We broke not tryst with thee of our own will, but we were laden with burdens of ornaments of the folk, then cast them (in the fire), for thus As-Samiri proposed. وہ کہنے لگے کہ ہم نے اپنے اختیار سے تم سے وعدہ خلاف نہیں کیا۔ بلکہ ہم لوگوں کے زیوروں کا بوجھ اٹھائے ہوئے تھے۔ پھر ہم نے اس کو (آگ میں) ڈال دیا اور اسی طرح سامری نے ڈال دیا Listen to the ayat Hadith from Sahih Muslim, Volume No 39, Hadith No 6728, THE SPLITTING UP OF THE MOON (A GREAT MIRACLE) Author : Imam Muslim Translation : Abdul Hamid Siddiqui 6728. Anas reported that the people of Mecca demanded from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) that he should show them (some) signs (miracles) and he showed tlicin the splitting of the moon. This hadlth has been narrated on the authority of Anas through another chain of transmitters.
