From Jacci Howard Bear, your Guide to Desktop Publishing
I was browsing some digital publications as well as taking a peek at some software for creating such publications when it struck me that certain features of print magazines really shouldn't be carried over to their digital counterparts.

Mimicking Print
A case can be made for applying many print design principles over to the Web and to digital publications. But in some cases isn't it better to stop trying to make your digital work look just like your print work? Discover what I'm talking about, vote in the poll, and tell me what you think in the comments.

Phone Numbers on Web Sites
We've discussed how to format phone numbers before, especially on business cards. In a recent comment Mark brings up how phone numbers on Web sites should be formatted because the Web isn't seen by just people in your own country. But is there an exception? Read and comment, please.

The War on Apostrophes
Another issues we've addressed before taken up again by Slate. The question is, no matter how you feel personally about apostrophes, what would the world be like if one day we simply stopped using them? Read and discuss.
