An astonishing price (around 80GBP) for the Nokia Lumia 521 at just $129.95. The Nokia Lumia 521 makes for a fantastic first time smartphone. The snappy 4″ WP8 phone will have the user experience of a higher end device at an entry level price.

The CR-200 is one of those more mysterious accessories that gets talked about but not really seen in person. Well, one user on reddit got theirs and have taken a bunch of pictures to share. There’s a car plug, a sticky bit if you want to put it on the dashboard or the traditional window sucker thingy. The NFC capable bit is to activate content such as a more car friendly landscape UI.

Whilst it’s not designed to be a car dashboard camera, you can move it slightly out to perhaps record video (like all them famous Russian dashboard cameras on YouTube that also keeps frequenting Reddit)

600 Windows/Microsoft Stores Coming to Best Buys Across US & Canada

Posted: 15 Jun 2013 09:34 AM PDT

prod_windowsStore_WebOne of Apple’s main advantages are its sleek, beautiful classy stores that inspire awe as soon as you walk in, starting last year Microsoft have tried to follow a similar route with their own “Windows Stores”. These stores dedicated to selling everything “Microsoft” including Windows PCs/tablets, Windows Phones, Xboxes and more have been met with varying degrees of acceptance. In an attempt to increase their foothold on North America Microsoft have announced a deal with Best Buy to have 600 “Windows Stores” placed on site inside best buys.

Each store will have about 1,500 to 2,200 square feet of real estate, and will arrive starting this summer; hopefully this will help people become more acquainted with Windows Phone, and Nokia of course. Check out the video below and the Windows section of the Best Buy site:

Video: How to Remove Back Case on lumia 520 & Insert Sim/SD Card

Posted: 15 Jun 2013 05:42 AM PDT

DSC02897Like the Lumia 620 and 82X the 520 features a removable back shell, so here’s a quick video showing how to pop off the back and get your Sim/Battery/SD Card in place.

One issue I’m having with the 520 so far is the fact that the physical camera button on the case seems to be defective in my model; it’s near impossible to get to the second stage of the camera shutter (as the button can only be pressed so far). I’ve searched online and other people have had that problem, with the solution being to make sure that the back case is properly fitted; which I assure you I’ve done and redone close to twenty time to no avail.
