Somehow the collective consciousness of human beings craves for children; blame it on the biological clock or reproductive instinct or our mental design to want and have children!

But how many people would actually plan to have no sleep, get puked and pooped on, and spend their life fortune on education for a kid? No matter how strongly we argue, there is a powerful biological drive for a baby, strong enough to override any logic.

A wife always dreams to have a baby and complete the family, but knowing the best suitable time to have a baby is what matters the most. But how do we know when men get that baby fever? Let's look at some signs which make it clear that the husband is now ready to complete his family with a baby.

1. He is financially stable.

What about his career? Is he settled in a good job? Is he ready to take the responsibility? Once he is in a good job and has it all going smooth, that's the time he starts thinking about kids. For a baby, it is very important for you to be financially stable as a couple. Bringing up babies is an expensive affair and before you plan one you have to make sure you are capable of paying those bills.

2. He mentions "when we have kids," often.

His day-to-day conversations include 'when we have kids...' If he uses this phrase often, he is ready to have a family. Moreover, he may also talk about baby names he likes or what it would be like to have a baby at home. This means that he's already thought of having a kid. A guy who doesn't want to have a family will never mention anything about babies or kids.

3. He has a plan in mind.

Having babies requires a lot of planning. If your husband or partner frequently says that he is planning to buy a bigger house or invest in a good car before having a baby, he is clearly interested in having a family. It is great that he is planning it well.

4. He talks to his parents about being grandparents.

Notice what he says when he is around his parents or your parents. It is not normal for a guy who is not ready for a family to constantly talk about babies or about parents being grandparents. If he does discuss parenting and grand parenting, you two are definitely on the same page.

5. He often offers to babysit his nieces or nephews.

Has he started practicing the skill to handle babies already? When he frequently asks to babysit, he may want to know what it is like spending a lot of time with babies. He may want to make sure whether this is something he really wants. This is a clear sign that he is thinking about his family.

daddy and baby

80 Percent Men Aspire to Become Dads, Finds Survey.

A recent survey has found that 8 in 10 men said that they have always wanted to become dads.

As compared to men, about 7 in 10 mothers wanted to have children. 69 percent of dads called that long-standing desire to have children an important factor in their decision to have kids, the Huffington Post reported.

Dads were more likely than moms in the poll to say they saw positive effects from fatherhood on their love life and career, and they are just as likely as moms to say it improved their overall happiness, sense of accomplishment, and sense of purpose.

When weighing whether to become a parent, mothers and fathers placed similar levels of importance on where they stood in their career and the impact having kids might have on their social life, and like mothers, saw having found the right person to have a child with and the joy of having children as the most important considerations.

Among men under age 35, 91 percent are dads already or say they think they would like to have children someday.

Men were more likely than women to say the main reason they'd like to become fathers someday is to carry on traditions or family history.

According to the poll, 14 percent of men called that a top reason compared with 4 percent of women.

Why Men Think So?

1. Men have biological clocks too.

Men have hormones and a biological drive to procreate, just like women. As U.S. News & World Report covered earlier this year, young men are more likely to have healthy babies. Plus younger dads are more physically equipped to handle wee ones and to provide for their long-term care.

2. They want to settle down.

Being a wild and crazy twenty-something may be fun, but the uncertainty of singledom can be exhausting and anxiety-producing. Some people, mistakenly or not, feel that having a baby will set their priorities straight and create a grounding force in their lives.

3. They want to be real men.

In America, the accepted course of life is this: you are born, you grow up, you get married, you have a baby. There's nothing wrong with deviating from that path, but the recognition and benefits that society and the government give parents turns starting a family into the holy grail of adulthood. Have a kid, become a man, our culture seems to say.

4. Loves you.

Having a baby is the absolute manifestation of your love. With the arrival of a baby, it is a complete life that you have loved and made together.
