SEIU gets wage hikes in deal with state

A tentative agreement reached Tuesday between the state and its largest public employee union includes a wage increase totaling 4.5 percent and guarantee of no new furloughs over the life of the three-year contract.


Curtis Park Village builder revises plan

Developers of the proposed Curtis Park Village have submitted a revised plan to the city of Sacramento that would add more single-family homes, move the multifamily homes and reduce the potential amount of commercial development.


Township 9 construction underway

While construction of the first housing is now underway at Township 9, other projects for the development between Richards Boulevard and the American River aren't far behind.


Homebuying tallies well ahead of 2012

New-homes sales are about 10 percent ahead of last year at this time in the Sacramento region, according to new figures released Tuesday by the North State Building Industry Association.
